it’s not rocket surgery
The answer to this is to just buy one of these at the nearest Home Depot (or whatever the Lowes equivalent might be):

I’ve bought at least four of these to leave with friends while helping with home projects.
I decided to just use presta tubes and screw those little adapters on them.

Step bit has become my new best friend for all kinds of stupid little problems like this
Just dont go too far! End up with a ruined rim real quick.
step bits are great for thin wall material since for the most part they don’t have a twisted flute and don’t tend to pull themselves through sheet metal after breaking through.
worth keeping in mind that you probably need to drill from both sides, lest you end up with one hole the right size and the next hole a size or two bigger depending on step length and rim depth
why doesn’t surly list a bcd on their stainless 4 bolt chain ring? is 4 bolt always 104?
also how stupid an idea do you think it is to use the bobbin keeper bolts on my bob axle to mount the lowers on a rear rach?
The best option would be a rack designed for a rear light eh
Total shartQ: for my next helmet should I go white or black?
Spandex or normal clothing?
Sunny and hot or overcast and cool?
Strava rides or JRA?
Tires <35mm or >35mm?
Comedy option: black with black reflective tape
I’m a normal clothing rider now, mostly JRA but will strava log the longer ones. In CA so it’s very sunny. 1 helmet for both my road and gravel bikes
I was thinking about reflective tape, definitely looks better on a white helmet, but with these cars I wouldn’t want to be caught riding in the dark anyway
I’ll grind off the extra bits
I don’t know what Blackburn is doing there tbh
Here’s a tubus:
Can’t you just drill 2 holes 50 mm apart?
The light has 8m spacing which is wider than the plate
Dang that’s wide.
That 2-hole vertical spacing is standard reflector mount spacing that some rear lights also use.
