There’s a very good chance that is a Sugino BB that would need the ubiquitous BBT-22 to remove it.
If the BB isn’t roached, you could probably flip it for a decent amount.
Interesting. It’s in an old Giant Rincon, so I kinda doubt it’s anything fancy. And it seems to spin okay, so I am not in a hurry to replace it, but also I am kinda bored, but also spending a gallon of sweat to work on a bike nobody rides doesn’t seem smart right now
For mtb, assuming the tires are the same size/model, I move the front to the rear and the new tire goes up front. But many mtbs used different models and sizes front and rear. If that’s the case I do whatever results in more front grip/rear slip.

Can any of those newfangled electric pocket inflators blast air quick enough to seat a road tubeless tire?
doubtful, unless it is a hella tight seal already that slow on the pump would also work.

Recommend a cage/cradle to carry a one liter Nalgene bottle underneath the down tube.
Should add, I’ve had one for a few years mounted on the top of the down tube, works fine without a strap shartmo

in between saddles since donating my cambium to a project. my ass seems happy with a b17 but i think its time for a new non-b17 saddle.
any suggestions on ultra-comfy saddles that dont look ridiculous on a bike? my ass never really liked the cambium and certainly hates the vintage flite i have on it now. wtb sst is also a no-go, possibly worst saddle ive used in a decade.
was thinking an ergon or sq. and i do have an rei gift card from mom-in-law burning a union-busting hole in my pocket.
