Did you just ShartQ?

Disk brake adapter, cut up a strip of something and drill two holes in it, p-clamp

Anyone here ever pair the Ritchey NeoClassic bars with any of the SRAM 11sp ā€œ22ā€ shakes?

I haven’t paired them with that bar, but my gut feeling is they might look a bit goofy with such a curvy bar.

No but I found this https://www.pedalroom.com/bike/sold-milwaukee-bicycle-co-road-42379

Looks like a really nice pairing imo! I love the NeoClassics. I’m not sure anyone else makes a bar currently that has compact dimensions with a deep hook. Gets you really nice and close to the shakes in the hooks. I’d just say consider the EvoMax- similar dimensions (the same I think?) but with some really nice flare to the drops, like 12 degrees. Best bar ever. But maybe not what ur lookin for.

Cool, was looking at that but unfortunately bound to silver handlebar aesthetic for this bike.

If nothing else, I recall @tehschkott sanded/polished some black drop bars to silver. You only need to do the center section that’s visible.

It works well. We built up a Fairdale with some not long ago.

So uhhhhhhh

Shimano doesn’t have any Saint UNs to sell for a while!?

What are you looking for, gold saint bottom brackets?

No, one with a 110 spindle and they’re OOS everywhere

And I love velo orange but I’m not spending another $36 on a bottom bracket

I guess I can try bike shops but I bet they won’t have any either

The weird frustrating thing about 2020 internet is: once something is OOS at one place, it’s OOS everywhere. They’re all just linked to the same distro catalog; no one actually has ā€˜stock’ anymore.

Q has 32 of the cheaper UN 26 in MN warehouse. But the 55 and such do appear sold out.

I had this experience recently for an ā€œin stockā€ item
Three places canceled my order before I called the distributor to find that their inventory was incorrect

Yep, just experienced that with some car tires. They said they had them in stock and have ordered them, only to find out yesterday they are oos in every warehouse in the USA.

BB-UN55 is discontinued
BB-UN300 is the replacement model, but it looks like several sizes (including 110mm) haven’t made their way into the supply chain yet

I have a single speed bike with a GXP crank on it

I have a square taper crank I want to replace it with

what’s the spindle length I’m looking for to keep me in the same ball park in terms of chain line?

What crank?

My only slightly joking answer based on personal experience, whatever length of the last one you try.

yeah, my experience has always been ā€œhave 3 lengths on handā€ and without being able to fuck around in the back of a shop I was hoping it might be a simple rule of thumb

prior crank is 130 bcd SRAM S500 w/ a wolftooth ring on the outside

nu crank is an FC-S105

This prettyboi?

They list BB lengths, weird tho that it’s different length for BSA compared to ITA.

that pretty won indeed

thanks

think the campy taper slurps up a bit more spindle
