Sharter Q: is that all the tube is, a crud seal? Not structural in any way?
Crud and internal cable routing.
exactly, the structure of the assembly is the bb shell itself, which is why itās so important for the end faces to be parallel to each other
Sram 11 sp rear derailleurs that say they have a max cog of 42: do they work with 46 max cog?
Happy that tarck has good experiences with their stuff. I ended up buying a Bordo 6100 combo, gonna be a hell of a lot easier to carry around than a huge U-lock.
Still going to have to deal with a key for a frame lock on the Lorry, so might end up ordering a keyed alike 6500 later and use the 6100 as a floater.
Is it just me or does everyone catch a little bug in their eye at the beginning on every ride and then have to blink and rub it out for the rest of the ride?
I can also vouch for the Bordo. I got it for locking up my Bullitt. It lives on the seat tube and is great for locking a weird shaped bike to weird shaped things.
Only when I go out with the intent of riding hard and fast.
This happened on a ride last summer at sunset. Except it wasnāt one bug, it was at least 10, and Iād bet half of them got into areas I couldnāt get them out and they were just absorbed into my body.
I used to commute along some canal trails and would end up with a face/beard/mouth/eyes/nose/ears full of gnats when they were in season.
Same, and always had to remind myself to keep my mouth closed after riding through the first gnat cloud.
Yea, trying to spit one out would just lead to like 20 more coming in.
TC: riding with a mask has saved me from inhaling at least five bees.
Thatās reason enough to wear a mask while riding #savethebees
Mask riding has been clutch for the bug inhaling, still gotten a few in my eye.
Extreme SQ: Can I keep riding my busted saddle rail like this (it broke outside the clamp area, I slid it back for the ride home) or am I a dumbass who needs to toss this perfectly broken in broken saddle.
Cool, about half the time I donāt use the tube. Sometimes the bb seems to go together happier without it.
Bro, dont
weld it
Just guessing here, that seems like a good way to damage the clamp.
Ok yāall Iāll swap saddles. Might rock this busted one on the fixie tho, donāt tell anyone. Throw some jb weld on it.
