Will a hair drier be sufficient to shrink it?

My floor pump is the Lezyne, it has the screw on chuck, which I like. Usually, I’ll throw the tire on, pump like mad a few times, and if that doesn’t work, I remove the core, switch to the air compressor and use this chuck:
I rarely carry a co2 but when I do it’s that one that @amy recommends. It’s great. When I was down south for my cousins memorial ride the other week her husband had that one of yours Heath. I totally failed the user experience on it. Had to use something else, in the end. I’m sure it’s great when you now what you are doing. These guys only had the best of everything.
It’s definitely not obvious how to use it.

I have a BBB pump with a lezyne style chuck and I put one of silca chucks on it a while back. Original reason was for track use (disc wheel) but it’s great for everything.

Ergon saddle-having friends: What is the typical lifespan of one of these? I have an SR Road that has about ~450 hrs on it, but I’m starting to have soft tissue compression.
I’m guessing it’s worn out, but wanted to check that it wasn’t something else first.
I had a ergon that i retired after literally crying myself to sleep from pudendal nerve damage. But i was doing puppy paws on it all day and so the pain wasn’t too surprising. Selle smp looks way weirder but fits my rolled pelvis position better.
I’m inching forward on rivnutting my downtube (lol?) but I’ve hit another snag. I got a step bit but the bit + small drill I’ve got are still way too big to fit in the triangle. Anybody have a hot tip on how to drill the tube under these circumstances?
