That’s basically me and I usually ride a 54, +/- 1cm

Also me. Inseam a bit shorter meaning, I guess a slightly longer torso.

54 with a 12cm stem.

I’m doing a 200 K tomorrow… It will be 35 and damp… Do I want to ride my hunter gatherer with more bag space and lighting, or my faster and lighter coffee grinder (but I have less clothing, and risk battery is dying at some point)

Ride the Gatherer.

Kay. I swapped my pedals. I guess I should also wear my wool flannel and stuff instead of the road gear too?

Seems like the appropriate choice.

Faster lighter is my suggestion I’m sorry I’m not online all the time

Wear layers. That bag is for you to stash layers

I’d ride the bike with fenders and lights, and I’d carry a spare pair of socks and gloves

Wear the road gear but the bike you can carry layers on.

Bro what
It’s a wet 200
When does one change socks?

Wear shoe covers and wrap your feet in Saran wrap

atmo if both bikes have fenders the lighter faster one will be more better.

Halfway

Shoe covers are great, but being able to swap out if, say, it finally stops raining is really nice.

Ehh, it has three ferry rides.
I’m erring on the side of comfort.
I got hella layers.
Also better pogies on the gatherer.
I am not having cold hands.

Jesus how much time will 3 ferry rides add to the whole day? That seems punishing.
In that case ride the H/G and bring a dang Switch.
