Do you sell Shimano shoes at the shop? Might need to drop by at some point to try some on. My Lakes are currently not giving me all of it.
yes! but not every model
My gaernes are pretty much trashed. Tread on the bottom is almost falling off at this point. Rubber too soft? IDK. But also, these shoes are still out of stock. I’m not a black shoe kinda guy and don’t want to spend the dollars on the sworks.
What size is you? Sadly most of the out of stock ones say early may for restock.
I would contemplate these if I needed more xc shoes or really did cross anymore.
45 in spesh
Dealer site says 2 in stock. And consumer site says you can add to cart in that ‘acid lava.’
hmmmmmm
What’s closest to a Birkenstocks forefoot like shoe? My giro lace seem ok but I want boa. Also I sized up on them so I don’t know if you would recommend me shoes based on these
Are you still a programmer?
Not professionally, unless some contract work pops up that looks appealing. These days it’s primarily stay-at-home-parent & rack/bag/framebuilding, plus whacking away at open source code.
Finally received samples of the new 5.10/adidas jawns.
I was expecting the Sleuth DLX to be slightly more Samba-like, but it looks good nonetheless.
Those are pretty cool. Walkable?
Which ones?
I doubt the boa ones are, if they are anything like my current/previous version of those shoes. I mean, I sometimes commute in them, but it is like 3/4 carbon shank, so they don’t bend much.
Yeah, the Kestrels (black/orange photo) are crazy-stiff. The others (Sleuth DLX) are walkable.
Yea I was talking about the Sleuth.
Yes, walkable. I haven’t, however, worn them longer than a few minutes. We’ll see how they feel after 10-12 hours.

Theses aren’t really disco slippers, rather approach slippers. But none the less, I bought them for riding/walking around. First impressions are good:
- Stiffness is similar to my FiveTen Freeriders. A little more supple when walking around.
- They have none of the padding and are fairly light.
- Sole is way grippy, interfaces with my pinned flat pedals nicely.
These look good but narrow
Rapha just announced their new adventure (clipless) shoe. Comes in TAF pink colo(u)rway.
