I don’t think that the disc mount matters (unless it shoves the disc in or out, which doesn’t seem to be the case with at least Shimano dynohubs – I gave a disc dynamo wheel to a friend a few years back and they were able to pop out their ISO wheel and insert the dynamo without any issues.)
Yup, but as I learned get 105 and not XT because Xt arms are longer and will hit the calipers

You kinda can’t use em with the big aluminum spider XT rotors. But also you can, I filed down the lil tab on my rear pads and filed down the front rotor spider a bit and both are fine yolo
Tarcktake is to get wet and fukka mechanical. Shimano has made it cheap enough.

They work fine with the CL rotors on Ash’s Vaya.
I’m using these rotors with Hayes CX brakes and they work great. Anything finned or with a spider that extends further will likely run into the caliper.
They’re not bullshit, but they have a bunch of disadvantages that don’t justify the premium price over Hayes or BB7s.
Adding to the Spyre problem list, I know multiple people whose Spyres ran into their dynamo hub either all the time, or when climbing. I also know both Fred and my friend Jacob rode their Spyres in adverse conditions and found their caliper filled with sand and dirt, and if I recall correctly, neither could ever get them truly clean again.

I think he’s referring to the floating rotors on the aluminum carriers that Shimano makes.
Not really as much of an issue with mech dicks as with hydros since you’re not going to boil your cable.
nah the issue he’s referring to is purely about clearance
like on olde style bottom-load calipers, the pad has that little frying pan handle which will hit the thiccc spider of a modern fancy rotor

Big thanks to the handful of happy Endpoint owners who chimed in on the Path Less Pedaled review feeds. Russ seemed to really enjoy the bike and we hope the same goes for the rest of you. 
Now if we can nail the important business aspects involved with having a business, we might be headed somewhere…
