Dq: what fenders are y’all running on your coffee grinders?
A number of us have/had the PDW full metal fenders. The City model fit over 35s.
I’ve posted this photo but since then I’ve added an iq-x, different saddle, dropper and some fenders. I’ll try to get something scenic this weekend

I’m dithering on what to do with my CG with the impending PNW rainy season approaching. Currently I’m running 650x48 Compass jobbers sans fenders.
Options I’m considering:

Try to find a set of fenders I can put over the 48s. May be a total fools errand, or maybe end up with mediocre coverage.

Size tires down to Gravelking 42s, use these VO fenders for a straightforward fit.

Take the opportunity to get a fastish set of 700c wheels and pair with the 32 roobays or similar and the PDW city fenders. End up with a classic roadie rain bike plus an extra set of 650 wheels with big tires to use without fenders for spicier offroad riding.
My heart says option 3 but it’s a lot to spend all at once. Option 2 is cheaper up front, but its kind of a waste if I want to get to option 3 eventually.

VO’s Wavy fenders work well with 650 x 47 tires.

Dunno what fork you have, but SKS Bluemels 26" x 60 cover 650x48 pretty well. And the fender line isn’t bad.
The problem on the Coffee Grinder is the clearance on the rear, I think.
It gets quite narrow at the brake bridge, so trying to squeeze a wide fender in there would require a significant amount of fuckery.
