Any geo changes on this?
I consumed a new Polyvalent last summer to be my casual vibes bike and the though of 650x48s are bumming me out. An XL day/ruiner able to fit 700x36 and fenders would be better.

No real changes. It keeps the slightly higher bottom bracket compared to the CG and NM.
Top tube meets slightly lower than the previous build at the seat tube for your dropper consideration.
Oh, suddenly going from casual vibes to Casual Vibes.
Internal routing?
External routed which I understand from Braden to have some good affordable options available from PNW or you can save your coins and get an AXS Reverb which is CASUAL VIBES.
Correct. Very easy to run external under the top tube with the other housing. PNW is cheap and works.
Internal would be “semi-internal” and would likely rattle.
Is 700x35 with fenders still the working model for the NM? If the 700x36 with fenders fits you can just take my money. It’s too tight on my BMC road+ and I’m really asking for an emergency ejection.
Is there a beginner’s guide to these frames around?
Seriously interested but am not savvy enough to keep up with the ongoing discussions about these modern triangulated creatures and their loving ways.
I’ll elaborate more as needed… but here’s the the basic concept.
CG - all road/go fast bike. Best set up with a tapered steerer full carbon fork. 35mm down tub 32mm top tube. Max tire 700x40 650x48. I’d say OPTIMAL tire size 700x28-36 650x48. 418mm stays. “Endurance road” geometry. Stable but not sluggish. Maybe a bit lest stack than a true “endurance” bike so you can still slam the stem and get an aggressive position. It’s a road bike so it has cable stops for 2x. Low bottle cage mounts. Ideal gearing 50/34
NM - all day/all night rando thing. Comes with a steel fork for low trail/high load hijinks. 32mm down tube, 27mm top tube. The most minimal seat stays we could justify. A bit more slope in the top tube best paired with a nice flexy carbon post. Similar tire clearances to the CG. 2x specific. Has a brazed on front derailleur mount placed to be run 50/34 or 46/30. No real frame rack mounts, but you could probably stick a Tubus Fly on there. But why?
HG - mixed surface, touring, rando, whatevering machine. Low trail. Longer stays. Same tube diameters as the NM but not quite as light. BB is a tad higher. I consider it a 650/584 specific bike. 650x48/50 is cool. But it clears all the way up to a 2.4” trail tire. Front and rear load approved. Definitely reasonable to set it up 1X but can also run a road chainline 46/30 nerd crank. Full length housing and can easily be adapted for 1x or 2x use without aesthetic compromises.
HG does really well with 700x36 atmo and has plenty of clearance for fenders too.
@EndpointBraden why braze-on pusher for the night moves?
Solves for optimal low bottle placement and not having to use a slotted/adjustable braze on adapter. None of the non-slotted types play well with our ST bottle placement. It’s crowded there. Plus it’s a road bike. And I’m hard headed about doubles. And it’s a little weird. And I like “a little weird”.
Oh yes, running a 42x28 double on the HG I’m very aware of this.
Could you 53/39 a NM (aside from the FD mount)?
Maybe? There’s room to push the pusher up a bit. 52/36 should work.
NM tire clearances? And is it symmetric (I thought I saw where the NM and HG would use the same fork?)
Same fork. Which has more clearance than the back end of the NM.
Night moves rear clearance should be like Braden mentioned - 650x48ish, 700x40. We can throw a wheel in there and confirm a little more. He’s got some skinny babies on there right now. Fork definitely will take a 2.4 if people are trying to do some wild shit with one.
ok ok ok let’s take a step back here
Let’s not. This had to happen to get us where we are now, but it was never meant to be.
as the owner of a titanium prototype all road frame that doesn’t clear a road crank properly i’ll go ahead and agree. great bike though as long as you embrace square taper life
