Endpoint bikes (and Outpost) thread

Tarck is all about fender fuckery.

Yep, more so with rain water than with mud. I haven’t installed buddy flaps yet either. The fenders cover the tread area which works on Horizons, but probably not on anything with side knobs.

True.

What’s the biggest 650 tire/fender combo you’ve seen on a CG that didn’t suck?

I have 42mm tires and it’s okay. Definitely some side spray in real wet conditions, but at that point I’m gonna get wet anyway. Mainly keeps the dirt off and great for wet roads when not raining.

OMG, CUT THOSE FENDER STAYS!

If an uncut steerer is a sternum puncher, what’s an uncut fender stay? A junk scratcher?

Sides of my knees always get the fender poke, I remember to trim but not to round off the sharp cut edge. Remind me to go do that on three bikes.

Get a pack of rubber vacuum caps from the auto parts store and glue them on with cyanoacrylate

counterpoint, my method:
wrap duct tape around them, add more duct tape right after the stupid fucking first layer of duct tape wears away and you rip another goddamn pair of pants like a complete goddamn idiot.

You’re a damn animal

it’s just this concentrated blast of stupidity and failure in my daily life.

Take a file/angle grinder/Dremel/ suitably abrasive rock to the ends and knock the sharp edges off?

Bills from post ER visit are adding up. My CG frame, Force kit, rims and other parts have a new home. Hopefully, it will be built soon.
