Got it last year I think. Easy to miss, he goes through bikes like a dose of salts.

Hey braden, will any of these things work to convert my H/G fork from 15mm to 12mm? Or is there one that you like for the purpose?

A 28h 15x100mm dynohub is apparently not a thing that exists in 2023.
I’d buy a Searchlight fork but then I’d need to get a flat mount caliper.

Guess the just don’t exist in the USA.

that’s a good one, but I like the Shimano one a little more, feels sturdier.

They’re in stock at BTI! I can’t order one for you but I think any shop with a BTI account can.

I have one of those flat mount to post mount adapters in my bin.

I also have a rodeo spork in my bin that’s 12mm.

I had a good experience with Adrian at ForkMods (aka JJBP) fixing my Marino fork, converting 15mm to 12mm. I sent him some pictures and he promptly sent me “custom” conversion kit at no extra cost. 10/10 interaction.

He wants 28h… Prob those cheap 27.5 carpet fiber rims people bought from the house.

oh missed the 28h bit.

Yeah, the JJBP adapter works.

Somewhere up-thread, I think Braden said which specific model you need.

If I can get a 15mm hub that works should I even fux with an adapter?

atmo an adaptor is a good thing to do if you plan on keeping that fork in circulation for a long time. that’s why i bought one even though i didn’t get around to using it. braden put it up and i bought it because 15x100 is dead now and i wanted future resistant

Buy the adapter atmo then you’ll have a wheel that will work with other bikes and not just that one.
