There is no way that they are not. No shop is beholden to any company, least of all Orbea, to offer their services for free
Yeah I might call reser (lbs receiving) to make sure they are square and take a 6 pack on pickup.
Orbea must be desperate to get rid of these.
Probably not a wise investment to manufacture a nondisc specialty bike when also offering a disc for not much more?
I’m guessing they’re not selling very well. They used to have at least four versions of the regular Katu plus the eKatu.
I mean… they look dumb as hell. I would never consider one for more than $350. And I am a dork. For $200 sign me up tho.
I really like the raleigh lorry and have been pining for one for a while. But this should fit the bill.
The green ones are gone
any reason not to do this?
I can’t tell if it’s built/ comes with spokes
this one is def built.
Just about anything beats building a 20 inch wheel with a dynamo hub
Even a 16 inch wheel with a dynohub?
well why would you go and do that?
i’ve been stuck lacing 20” dyno disc wheels twice now. i guess that’s where the trauma comes from
Brompton
This is precisely why everyone should use nipples with a square or hex tool interface inside the rim and a cordless drill. It makes EVERYTHING more efficient and these builds cease to be traumatic.
What’s the best cheap af light system then
Looking for weird Chinese shit.
The 40 light unit foxeye from ebay is US$20 to your door, and surprisingly good for the price. The same seller does a headlight + (no-standlight) taillight for ~US$24, and I suspect you could power it on the cheap by just hooking it up to a 3.7v lipo cell.
This one seems to claim to have some sort of steady light?
If you happen to be ordering from Euroland the Trelock 435 is 40 lux and in the 20-25 Eurobuck range and has an excellent beam.
Oh shipped!
No tracking number it seems.
Mine also shipped.
