Yup.
I got real tired of flipping wheels to check dish. So some scrap 1/2" x 1/8" with a 6x1 hole tapped in the middle and a carriage bolt does pretty well.
I wanted to make something nicer but bending and cutting is all I’m set up for here right now. No 220v in the garage and welder is out of gas. I’ll probably use this for ever and never complete the nicer version that’s been in my head for years.

Saw this non-$60-airshot concept and went for it. Need longer tubing and something to secure it to the valve, but seemed to do the job!

It’s a pretty good pressure vessel for like 40psi I wouldn’t try 100 though

I followed this exact same path.
A friend just got one of these and fills it with one of those cheap plug in tire pumps because they didn’t want to buy a compressor. They say it’s great, but they have also made 700c tires fit on 27" rims and said that was great too so idk
