Unbelievable day! Close to 70 degrees!
RIP series 6.
TIL dunno how to us a Garmin. Recreated the ride and uploaded images, dunno if this will work…
@jordanpattern it appears not to like the interactive thing you were talking about.
Remind me what interactive thing that was?
This is what I was looking for, maybe I am trying to add the wrong link. The thing I copypasta’ed into the post was the iframe embed.
Ahhh, right. That’s a mobile feature. If you have the RWGPS app, open the ride, and tap the share icon in the title bar. That will take you to a screen where you can choose to use the ride map or photos and then use the system share to share directly to social media or download the image.
Ah, I see, so it is a fairly nice image but doesn’t have some interactive gallery thing that I was missing. Still neat, will actually post my photos here I suppose
A friend from NY wanted to deliver flowers to another friend here, but didn’t want to pay courier rates, so offered to help out.
Took a walk to a pocket p-patch that is pretty hidden downtown.
Went to the Seattle Center and took a lap on the ghettodrome.
Opted for climbing up and over Queen Anne. Hills are hard after going this long without riding…
The little naturally covered area to the left is perfect, why does the sign to the right have to be there?
Made it to the top, Gasworks looked somewhat less crowded than normal for the first 60 degree day of the year. Was still a mushroom patch from this distance.
And down I go… Any photographers want to weigh in on the best way to capture slope?
p.s. Yes, I realize things are poorly attached in a number of ways and just tossed the gas tank on in the hopes of having the Garmin recording things. Also, the crown connection for the the front pack keeps rattling loose, need to get spacers and some locktite I suppose.
I’ve seen photos taken perpendicular to the slope aligned to the horizon that seem to show steepness accurately.
That fence and wall over on the other side of the street gives a good indication.
Is that route #23 or one that’s still in use?
damn you’re good. yeah that’s the 23. no longer in use
This is a hot take, but dogwood blossoms > cherry blossoms.
Dangerous territory there. Fortunately, my neighborhood has both in great quantities.
ok consider this a warning
