:notes: country roads, take me home :notes:

I believe the proper term is cannolo. The star of the show was the lb of pignoli/pine nut cookies we brought home.

I’ve certainly been enjoying the recent increase in Chicago content recently. Not sorry for leaving the city for the first time in over a year.

The drycleaner in my building was a pastry chef before coming to the US and he says the cannoli are good, which I completely agree with.

82 miles today after having done a 14 mile trail run yesterday, so my legs are good and tired. Highlights of the ride were checking out the entrances to an old rail tunnel that will hopefully one day be part of the Mass Central Rail Trail and poking around the park at the Wachusett Reservoir Dam. It was warm enough that I wasn’t wearing bulky gloves, so actually took some photos.

Mass DCR: No fun allowed.
