Rainy couple of days here in Sydney, but I wanted to get out to pick up some sweet treats for my sweetheart, it’s our 17th anniversary. Accidentally’d some hike-a-bike but it all turned out ok.

Tour de Sewer: San Gabriel River Trail → Rio Hondo Trail → LA River Trail. 55 miles almost entirely without cars, except for the Surfriders doing planting on the SGRT and the oil spill remediation on the LA River path.
unlocked a new 100 mile transit assisted overnighter route from home. it was hard though. lots of colorado trail, lots of hiking of bike. photos are from a 2011 CoolPix.
Big ol’ Midwest Gravel™️ ride for the Great Lakes Handmade Bicycle Show yesterday. Super great crew and it was nice to be new parents riding with other parents.

Man I thought that overgrown field was Lundy. Hope you did a thorough tick check. I may go there this weekend if my body says it’s ok to bike.
