Rainy couple of days here in Sydney, but I wanted to get out to pick up some sweet treats for my sweetheart, it’s our 17th anniversary. Accidentally’d some hike-a-bike but it all turned out ok.

Finally over being sick, and took yesterday off of work.
Wasn’t planning on climbing much, but couldn’t see the top of the mountain and I’ll never pass up an opportunity to climb into a cloud.

Tour de Sewer: San Gabriel River Trail → Rio Hondo Trail → LA River Trail. 55 miles almost entirely without cars, except for the Surfriders doing planting on the SGRT and the oil spill remediation on the LA River path.

unlocked a new 100 mile transit assisted overnighter route from home. it was hard though. lots of colorado trail, lots of hiking of bike. photos are from a 2011 CoolPix.

Man I thought that overgrown field was Lundy. Hope you did a thorough tick check. I may go there this weekend if my body says it’s ok to bike.
