The one thing I hate about wearing a liner/overglove collabo is that I usually pull my gloves off to operate a phone. That operation is annoying when only the overglove comes off (or both come off but the liner gets mussed up inside and are a PITA to get my hand back into). Maybe one of those liners above is a good solution?
My gf got me touch screen thread for my birthday, going to try to sew it into some of my cycling gloves this weekend and I will report back.
So it’s been freezing foggy/icy every morning for the last few days. Not that cold, but just frozen over in random, inopportune places that you don’t see until you’re right on them.
Can anyone recommend some hockey pads, or perhaps a foam suit, that can be comfortably worn on a bicycle?

I think it’s spelled C-A-R. I’ve been getting a lift from the wife-taxi to the ferry in the morning, and then riding in the traffic lane as necessary through downtown. This morning I thought I was safe to ride, and now I have bruises and some scraped bar tape.

I was so glad to see the streets were wet this morning.
Snotty, I resent your assumption that I’m not already wearing wool socks.
I’m riding 3-5 hours, lowest temps around 27-30. I can only for thinner wool socks in my cycling shoes, so booties are a must.
Toast. Gore booties do run huge. I’m using the 39-41 size and its fine for length in my size 43 shoes.
I went through a set of PI AmFib booties and replaced them with the Bonty jawns. I usually use a medium-weight merino wool sock with the booties over my road shoes. I went with a size larger than my shoes, and I’m much happier trying to get them on/off.
Hi Ninja Ice bros. fuck you and your worthless gloves I almost lost a fuckin pinky today. I was like should i pocket my regular gloves? Nah endorsement sooo good.
These the culprits
I have yet to take them to that level, but I am certainly less than impressed with them. Maybe it’s my fat knuckles, but even then larges feel tight, and not super warm as Fred seemed to claim.
Then I got Amy’s wool defeets and larges have extra material the tips and appear thin. Maybe we’ll see tomorrow as we drop from 50 to 30 and lower as the day goes on.
I personally would have brought gloves I knew would work and ninja’d those on halfway through. Losing a pinky is serious stuff. Hope you are alright and don’t have white splotches on it worse.
