I was trying to get that color for my Saila road bike, but it came out a little more muted.
Weigh the bmx coward
Aethos 10r
This is the heavy one!
DQ: building up a set of 24h wheels. Have the rear hub and hoops. Matching front hub is fractionally less expensive than a dynamo.
What do
you know the answer
Ok nerds let’s dither
New off road bike
Based on a riv Atlantis
72/72
Fits max 29x2.2
Will mostly have 700x44 with fenders
rigid fork probably ~450ac, something off the shelf, 1.125 straight steerer
2 top tubes NON NEGOTIABLE
Horizontal not curvy
Chainstays in the neighborhood of riv 450+
Modern t47 can’t decide mtb or road width tho
TA&discs
at least one of those 72s is probably not what you want, right?
I’m not saying 63 hta rowdy Riv shred sled, but maybe like, 70-71hta if you’re going to be aiming it at anything tricky?
But why? The new GP fetish for double top tubes despite them not being necessary (doubly so because he’s taken to using top shelf 1.5mm walled crmo steel) isn’t the classic Atlantis.
What are you wanting out of this bike?
Also I agree with @iwillbe. 71° hta is awesome. Especially on steep stuff/trails.
you want this
Ooh
Maybe it’s time for this thing
Could double top tube
Those Raleigh(?) Chopper’s are so cool.
that thing has borderline pedal overlap.
You said two top tubes not two down tubes
