edit poast # 600
$264 for frame/fork/seatpost? i could throw some bmx parts on there and have a super cheap build!
The wheels are the expensive part.
are they ss/fix 20"? i have some 20" bmx wheels i could throw on, might have to respace the wheels though.

edit: i don’t think i’d feel bad about squeezing the frame in 1cm. also have a set of 20" rims lying around.

edit:
The Piccolo is made of Sillgey’s 757 light weight double butted crome-moly tubing. It is designed to run 20 1-1/8" (451 ISO) wheels, and 120mm spaced rear hubs. The Piccolo will work with standard 20" (406 ISO) wheels, but then brakes won’t reach.

what are brakes for anyway? and if i actually got one, it’d be a fun bike so i’d probably run no brakes and short gears.

also: i fucking luv your sig more and more everytime i see it

has anyone seen this? everything about it is stupid (especially the marketing and the name)
but i still want one so bad.
and is cheap. am i reading things wrong or is the minivelo made of nicer steel than the 700c?

thinking about either this or waiting around forever for a raleigh twenty to come along cheap or a xootr swift.

i really want one of those piccolo fixed mini velos. so pointless but it looks like so much fun!

46x16 for polo?

20" wheel changes your gear inches dawg.

Right lol.

Do Moulton bikes count? They’re kind of their own thing, but still badass:

I would totally ride of of these if they weren’t so insanely priced. They’re FAST.

We have one of the Cannondale Hooligans at the shop. Its pretty fun for riding down the street to get coffee. With the right gearing and clipless it could be a sick little commuter bike.

Damn, you’re not kidding. This is the new tarck.

And cubes are yesterday. Pyramids are where it’s at with fruit.

I’ve ridden one, they handle terribly. The shop I rode it at didn’t appreciate me doing fixietricks on it =P

man, i still really want one of these

i was trying to convince my friend (who is going to japan for the JET program in a couple of months) to get one, but he’s 6’6"

:frowning:

ps would i be a bad man to get this with chorus?

http://www.gios.it/bike/?Panto#menu

it would be 100% worth it

would be jealous as fuck

fuck it, might just get it with tiagra

it will cost me $10 more than what the government gave me for the centrelink student scholarship payment last semester that i am yet to spend

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it

i would also really like couplers for this

Damnit this thread has me seriously thinking about buying one of those “Big Shot” polo bikes and throwing clipless, drop bars, high gearing on it for going stupid fast on a stupid bike. $300 is about the most I’d pay for something like this.
