New & Interesting Bike Campenaerts

That looks pretty neat, but micro USB? come on get with the fucking USB-C program. Imagine the possibilities with a dual front chainring setup! suddenly a 53/39 is useful again (hahaha JK that’s a dumb gearing if you’re not pro tour)

Also €2400 for just the wheel. Yikes.

I thought that was for the full carbon-rimmed front+rear wheelaset, cassette, shifter, transmitter, etc.

On further examination, it is, but it’s still enough to buy a nice new whole bike.

BRB going to put a wanted ad on paceline for a used Classified rear hub system if anyone has one sitting on the shelf and is upgrading this year.

Yowza

Wowzers!, though I did find out it’s the whole meal deal which makes it a little easier to digest.

That’s the look I want to come back, not this frame less weird rectangle stuff.

People hated on these but I love them. And I think they are substantially less ridiculous than the euro goggles above

Do you wear a cape with those?

No but even worse I got the safety goggle color ones (this was years ago, I actually still wear them to keep my eyeballs from freezing in the winter)

I have an older pair of Smith frameless glasses that look like that. I broke the lower tint lenses, so I just keep them for driving.

Are these weird face shields doing anything for you that wayfarers aren’t? Iirc, having prescription lenses steered me away from a single lens anyway…

Love me some oakley sutro, 100% glendale/s3, et al.

For me, I get a lot more dry-eye when I wear regular sunnies compared to riding-specific glasses. Also, peripherals are better ATMO.

stay on my face

Lost a pair of Ray Bans at 45 mph when I looked over my shoulder to see if the lane was safe. The air ripped them off my face and threw them on the asphalt and told me I was ugly.

Those look way better than the fadey bois posted above.

I just wear my regular glasses on the bike and deal with looking like I just watched Bambi’s mom get shot every time I go over 30mph. Not by choice though, I have yet to find glasses big enough with long enough temples that also take prescription lenses.

I have a narrow face, and this is my issue too. If I’m just riding to the store or whatever, Knockabouts are fine, but I’m not going to want to be adjusting and checking them every 30 seconds on a longer ride.

I joined the Sutro (S) crew today, and I’m pleased so far. All cycling sunglasses look pretty ridiculous, so you may as well lean in.
