New & Interesting Bike Campenaerts

Other than the look are they really any better than a Topeak Morph? Never used a full size frame pump.

No they’re way worse.
Morph is the goat.

wat, frame pumps are the best

iykyk. but for pumps that live with lock-up/bring-a-bag bikes, the morph is the move

Maybe they’re good for road cycling, but not for my purposes.

Nothing’s better than a hose, T-handle and a foot peg. Even if the foot peg barely works.

Oh yeah. Listened to that. I thought he did a crappy intro to it when I first heard it. I wondered if he was involved with the new TRP Classified shifters when I saw that announced the other day.

What model morph is best?

The standard mini morph is the one I have and would get again.

For 6-7 years the only pump I owned was a road morph. I like having the gauge on it even if I don’t know how accurate it is.

I also have a mountain morph and it is a bit bulky to carry around on the regular.

I don’t have a mini morph but I would probably buy that one if I were to get a new one.

I also used the standard mini morph for a decade or so. Just recently I got a mini morph G for every day rides and a mega morph G for bike camping or any time weight/size is less of an issue.

Gauge isn’t great but it’s better than guessing.

Edit: after looking at the Topeak website to get the names of the pumps, I realized that we’re all going to be better off when pump companies finally realize that no one cares if a pump goes to 160 psi anymore. What we need is pumps that max at 100 (of even 80) with more accurate gauges.

I got a Turbo Morph a couple years ago and it seems alright but blissfully I’ve never had to use it in anger

Well this looks kinda wild:

https://www.blackmath.bike/

how does it say the seat angle doesn’t change?

Is AI building bikes now?
Keeping it real?
Methinks the bot do protest too much.

Wild, I’ve been sketching out some similar ideas on non-telescoping droppers, but adding the extra part where dropping the post changes the leverage ratio is pretty interesting. I wonder what’s under the “sock” and if it’s a standard hydraulic lifter.

yeah i wonder how annoying the wildly changing seat angle (the literal seat not the tube) is. you definitely can’t sit on that saddle when it’s down, not that you’d want to.
