wtf is the source of that gif. I must know.
It’s a German Youtube show about online gaming characters coming to life.
Lol is that Zelda
Zelda is the girl.
Everyone knows that.
To be fair, Fred’s tiara is not quite as resplendent as that.
not anymore
they’ve both lost most of their jewels
Did tarck arrive at a verdict on the Costco packable down throw?
a 9sp chain is never the best option though
10s chains last much longer and shift much better on 9s drivetrains
Which 10s chains? I’ve noticed dramatically shorter lifespans from SRAM and Shimano chains on 10s compared to 9s. I get about 1-1.5k miles out of an XT 10s chain if I clean and lube after every ride. When I ran 9s a chain would last years, so long I never bothered trying to keep track of mileage.
I think we liked it? I bought 2. Have mostly used on couch, not camping yet.

Same here. Bought two. One of the dogs likes them. Will probably use for camping in a week or two.
I also bought two, I was thinking about making one into an under quilt to see what that life is like for the cheap before I buy something more specific. DQ: is it as easy as adding some rivets or something?
Fred did you have an opinion Crust cargo fork or am I making that up?
what’s my best cheap option for cargo biking?
someone here put one on a bike (Rudy? Andrew?)
I like the crust fork fine. I wish it had a light mount. And fender mounts. It does have lots of mounts to bolt a bigger platform or collapsible crate to it. Be warned, wheel sizing is confusing as hell.
wait what how did i not know you had one?
bmxshopbros are interested in me being the guinea pig for one
How is 20" bmx wheel confusing idgi
I’ve given the DT hydro hose routing 6 months of use and I’m ready to say I hate it. I frequently carry my bike up and down stairs with TT in my arm pit, saddle nose on my shoulder and hand gripping the DT and the hose is annoying as hell. Beyond functionally annoying there is also the terrible aesthetics of a droopy tube from sparse zip-tie braze-ons. Glen also fucked up of of the braze-ons sitting under the NDS chainstay so that its nearly impossible to get a zip-tie through the slot.
Ready to say fuck-it and have braze-ons put on the NDS seatstay since the TT guides are already capable of guiding a 3rd cable.
I’m planning on keeping the disc tab on the chainstay since Fred said I can get a right angle hydro tube adapter.
Plan is to route hydro cable vertically with the right angle adapter (I think Fred called it a “bayonet”?) so it can transition to a new cable guide under the seatstay just like all the other Elephant NFEs out there.
DQ1: What is the part number for this right angle bayonet adapter? Using the term bayonet isn’t turning up any results.
DQ2: Is there a chance that fully tightening down this bayonet would point the hose in the wrong direction and rotating it to point the correct direction would loosen the threads enough that it could lead to leaking?
DQ3: Can you forsee any long term issues? Would a future hydro groupset not have this part thereby locking me into RS685 forever?
I think you are looking for the Shimano BH96 banjo unit. I always have trouble keeping my Shimano compatibility straight, but BH96 should interface with that caliper.
