Roodhooft Bros taking their Womenās CX teams (IKO, Alpecin Fenix, and Credishop Freistads) and merging riders for one road team.
Although, looks like they have at least one rider from Baloise Trek.

I was watching them roll in and the announcers were listing all the possible sprinters that could contest the finish and I thought to myself, hmm I thought Vos was an awesome sprinter, but these guys are telling me to watch these other women ok guess Iām wrong. Then we get to the line and Vos just sort of pulls away from the peloton without a lead out or anything.

One of the proudest moments in my life was when I got to shake her hand. After the 2013 CX Worlds in Louisville she was finishing her cool down ride after winning and was talking to the security at the entrance to the team area. I was coming back from the car with all of my coat pockets full of beers to sneak back into the venue because they had run out of beer inside. I saw her and ran over and congratulated her and said that it was such an awesome race.

hey, i was there too! mightāve been off tarck at that time, tho.
iāve got a similar story, only itās 3am and weāre leaving the afterparty. waiting outside the bar for a few of our crew to exit when who do we see? sitting patiently, alone behind the wheel of a rental minivan is the newly crowned world champion sven nys. the guyās just won the biggest prize in his sport, putting a bow on what might have been the most successful carreer ever in the discipline and heās waiting outside the party like a high school chaperone.
we went over and knocked on his window. weāre extremy lit at this point, but he opened up and gracefully accepted our slurred and incoherent congratulations. said he didnāt feel like going to the party.
when we were finally done heaping him with agressively sloppy praise, he asks us if weād seen bart (wellens) inside. āyeah, he was dancing with two women!ā he dropped his head, sighed and wished us a good night.

Probably told this story before, but I was doing crossing guard duty at the Trek CX thing a couple of years ago and after the menās pro race Wout VA just kinda stopped in the middle of my crossing and had a convo with some other racers. I was not sure what to do so I just stood down. His kit seemed so damn clean.

Really? The GCN commentator called it for her if it came back together. Was a bit bummed that Elisa Longo Borghini couldnāt hold it off, even though it was basically just her with anything left in the tank.
Still very stoked for Vos, and what I guess was that womenās teamās first win. Hella of a day for them. She even said that Woutās win was putting pressure on them.
I still say someday someone is going to turn around and say āMarianne Vos? Youāre supposed to be 95 years old now! Why are you still winning??ā
