The rumours of a particular racerās invincibility might have been greatly exaggerated.
He did say last week he should not be the favorite.
He was also wearing black shorts, and said he wears white when feeling good.
He also got a close second well ahead of everyone else lol

Donāt love hearing him talk about how the strongest guy won after Asgreen sat on the back of Wout and Mathieu while they took turns turns pulling to shed the Alaphilippe group. Like, OK, you got wolf packed again and it was great racing, but the strongest guy didnāt win.
Heās like the kid that never had to do homework but always aced the test anyway, but now heās at an Ivy League school and everybody there aced all the tests in HS too. Needs to work smarter to be head of the class now.

Not sure if you all have been following the Sagan drama, so Iāll quickly summarize. His contract is almost up ($5M/year; only Froome makes more) and I guess itās not unusual to downplay your own guys abilities going into contract negotiations. However, Saganās team manager Ralph Denk took it a bit far basically saying Sagan was over the hill to which Sagan replied āIf Denk doesnāt need me Iāll be the first person to find a team that does.ā
Anyway, be still my heart.
