i’m convinced that for the average sweet fixie rider in chicago the handlebar setup is a true form of self expression. all of those pictures are humdrum typical things you see everywhere. a guy a worked with quit his job to be a fair weather bike messenger and would switch his bar situation up about once week, he would mix and match grips and bars and stems, and almost everyone single setup looked just like one of those.
