Whomp whomp. Guess those max markings on the rails are there for a reason. Most comfortable saddle I’ve owned, luckily I just got one in black a couple months ago for a bike I don’t ride as often.

I was digging through a parts bin last night and found all these saddles that I’d classified as “probably no longer safe to ride” so this is timely
Killed my SA a long time ago, this is an origin8 leather saddle, lame as it sounds it’s actually so comfy. Gonna have to play with my fit if I need to start running my saddle more centered on the rails… Is there any silver 27.2 seatpost with significantly more setback than the VO?

if you’re in french fit territory, there are the vintage models that IRD cloned
if you can get all the chrome plating off, someone could TiG your rail back together

I’ve got a Specialized Alias seatpost with 35mm setback that has worked amazing for me but I’m having a hard time seeing if it is still for sale anywhere
