Ha ha. Good point.
I am curious to read more first-hand reviews of the updated GP5000: Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TR tubeless road clincher officially announced - CyclingTips
ahhhhhh dang they made it official? i JUST picked up a pair of Pirelli Pzero in30mm.
oh well, iāll burn through them just in time to ⦠wait eight months for Conti production to catch up with demand?
at least you picked the other tubeless Paris-Roubaix-winning tire though
i also snagged some 28mm Pirelli cinturatos, in case my winter road bike needs new tires
is that doodoo on the rim?
Proof of poopbarning
How do I find out?
the proof of the pudding is in the eating
scratch and sniff (and gag? who knows! itās fun!)
Ordered some of the Cheng Shin American Classics today, will report back
I got some 650b ones. They smelled weird when I first took them out of the box but they ride good and seem very fast on dirt. Double-thick sidewalls are where all the weight is, like 1.5-1.7mm thick. But sorta supple. Best $35 tire for sure, brought my rando bike back to life so I canāt complain.
These are pretty dang good for 26" deadending:
My experiment with vintage rubber seems to be a failure. Iāve been trying to get an old Stanās Crow to seal up. Both beads are sealed but one side of the tire has been weeping sealant for almost a week with no sign of stopping. Itās been laying on its side in a wheel holder the whole time, but it looses all pressure in like 8 hours. I think Iām gonna call it and use the last of my hoarded Maxxis Treadlites.
Also, any reason not to put this āpump track specificā tire on the back of my VooDoo?

Because a Maxxis DTH is ~200g lighter for the same sizing?
But itās not tubeless for some perplexing reason. If it were itād be the holy grail of 26ā nerd tires.
Those stupid tires wept sealant when they were new.
Iām surprised they didnāt dust off those old molds to make āgravelā tires though.
