Souplesse Casings and Bike Soup - The Tire Thread

Has anyone uses Maxxis velocita ar or heard anything about them? I’m on Hutchinson override in 38 right now.

This is the general tire thread, not just the supple fetishist thread right?

I have not yet heard about the maxxis option till you posted just now. I’m personally leaning towards the Hutchinson option for my coffee grinder. Undecided on size though, I really want to try the 38 but I’ll probably play it safe on the 35.

I recommend them. Never had an issue and they tubeless really easy. They’re true to size on my ~24mm rims.

Anybody have experience with the Spesh Pathfinder tire? I need new rubber on my commuter and these seem to fit the bill nicely.

Looks similar to the trigger, which was a pretty dope gravel tire. And the solid center should be nice for the commute. Buy and report back!

Try out the swifttires yet? I need some new tires for 26" thrifted bridgestone. My only other 26" experience has been powerblocks – which have been pretty good.

but tempted by these vans waffle tread tires for full pastel colorway (pink/periwinkle/lilac):

Swifttires seem to operate at a pretty leisurely pace. I ordered some for the gf bike and they took about a week to even send an order confirmation

I’m not usually a fan of colored tires, but I like this.

When did colored tires become okay? I remember people freaking out about red hetres back in the day?

240 gram “Squirrel” 38 mm tires from Grand Bois. I am not even sure how this can happen. Dare someone to try them.

This is the first instance I’ve encountered since 2007 of colored tires being OK.

If they weren’t $150/pair I’d be tempted!

haha I was going to @ you

You can also email isb@cyclesgrandbois.com

Furthermore, considering that the listing says that the tires are “NOT INTENDED TO BE USED TUBELESS” no less than three time and NOT INTENDED FOR GRAVEL RACING once, I dare someone to do those things.
