smooth-ish and no. I donā€™t think he uses it anymore. and itā€™s for a customer bike. I think iā€™ll just go pasela wire bead. Not much available in that sizeway anymore

Hmmm.

Got to watch sealant work in real time the other day. Got to the bike cage after work and my rear tyre was low. Found a staple in itā€¦ Put some air in, pulled the staple, and watched it seal up in a couple seconds. Was pretty cool.
Gk slicks with Stanā€™s fwiw.

You can see in that photo that the black wall smooth gravelking is much more supple than itā€™s brothers.

Options for measuring supplness

  1. Stand it up against the wall (if possible)
  2. Fold it up, give it a tire gastric bypass, place it next to itā€™s siblings. Determine suppleness with close examination through computer screen.
