TBH I think they Both sound like shit. I have an aluminum Crane that sounds so much more pretty, but bike bells are supposed to get people’s attention not sing them a fucking lullaby.

This. I’d be happy to buy a Spurcycle bell if it seemed like better value for money. The materials cost is fairly small, it just seems like there’s a huge “designer tax” on it. That said, it kinda sucks that they’re getting cloned so obviously.

Edit: I’d pay $30 for a black spurcycle bell. Seems fair with a designer tax. I guess it goes to show that if your material cost is so low you’re getting knocked off for $10 then you need to do more of the R in R&D of the market for your item.
