I have run sram 11 on noodle bikes of my own fabrication with no issue. L Some forged drops have festures molded on the dropout that make the dropout wider. Some are thin. The thin ones need the washers.
I also am light and do not put out any sort of power worth noting.
Pictured above is my Somec built in go-fast-roadie-geo with no eyelets to be found anywhere and it fits GB Cerfâs on TB-14âs which sure is a 28mm combo. Could fit same wheel/tyre combo on my old Gazelle Champion Mondial AB-frame:
A ebay search for âGazelle Champion Mondialâ racks up hella nice frames from the 80/90s built from Reynolds 531(C) or nicer tubing for more $$$. Gazelle bonus: Always every threading BSA! A search for âReynolds 531â, âColumbus SLâ would do the same. Nice older steel frames could be had so fuggin cheap right now.
