Sup stole my bike and I need a new one

Pretty lugs, but I don’t think you could strip it and sell everything else and get the price down to the $200 limit.

That thing is definitely worth all 600 of those dollars

Also $600:

Maybe once I gather 3x $200 bikes I can trade them for a $600 bike

That Serotta is a screamin’ deal at $600!

I’ve been eyeballing this, with the idea I’d swap over the parts from my Miyata 1200.

Just fucking buy that thing already!

That thing looks awesome. I’d ride it with the chorus on it and new wheels.

ooh racing triple

That bike is ripe for a disc conversion

What about one of them masi proto randos

Bend has the deals!

This thing needs your help Jimmy!
Besides, the rear wheel alone is worth what he’s asking for the whole bike!

I’ve been hounding them about a frameset for the past 12 months.
This is their most recent reply:

At this time we aren’t selling the frameset as a separate package, but we are working on it. I hope to be able to announce it later this year.
It will likely be an upgraded tubeset as well

It is a mystery to me why its so difficult to sell a frameset to the handful of people that want one but I don’t know anything about the bike industry

Because they order them from Taiwan in a batch assembled with parts and sit them in a warehouse. They forecast for the whole year in typically one run. So when they are out they’re out.

They also need to keep a certain number of 2018 framesets in stock for warranties and crash replacements.

Which they will probably unload as cheap ep stuff in 2019.

It is very easy to fall down the rabbit hole of buying parts and bits that are probably overpriced.

Here’s question, in you all’s opinion what parts should you spend the $$ on and which parts should you spend the $ on? I’m trying to balance buying quality once vs. wanting to ride the bike sooner than later.

got my eye on a sweet cf seatpost clamp…j/k lol

Get this thing for sure.

I spend money on comfort, a $20 seatpost is often as good as a much more expensive one. I spend money on making sure my shifting is functional.
