Weird how I bitch about them here and immediately get an email. Apparently MRP forks are too exotic for them to support.
Does MRP use a weird thread pitch? Maybe another axle would work.
I clicked around and that SET703 kit from OMM fits all RockShox forks except 2021+ SID, so maybe could test fit if you or a friend have a bike with a Pike or something?
MRP uses a 1.0 thread pitch on this15mm axle, which is weird apparently. We do have a bike with a Pike in our horde doe.
To be clear I have a functional axle in the fork now, was looking for the special one to mount my OMM rack to.
Yes, I understand. I was thinking maybe there was another fit kit from OMM for just that thread pitch, but might not list MRP specifically. Looks like all of their front axle kits are 1.5 pitch or Manitou or SR specific.
Edit: nevermind, nothing to see here.
Wow, the Ortlieb Quick Rack is pretty sweet for a rear rack. Took me like 10 seconds to remove for a ride and 30 to reattach for a commute. Would recommend if it suits your use case
fork daruma?
Give that tang the ol’ heat and beat treatment to bend it where you want it to go.
Link?!
@Gary_the_tennis_ball is this one of yours?
Hi tarck it’s been a sec.
Yes I designed that rack and the bag that goes in it (but any wald bag will work great)
Nice work on those.
