I almost forgot — I also moved where the bungies attach to the bag to get a tighter fit that way. However I mainly did that because the bungies were completely loose in the original placement.
Finally had a second to mount up the Rawland Raidoverks on my Elephant.
Went on significantly easier than I was expecting. Did not need to trim straight stays!
Not sure if pure luck or if Sean had them created with the 140-145mm crown hole to braze-on standard that Rivendell / Haulin Colin / Soma / Elephant use. The rubber stay caps barely touch my Ozette.
I made a Luxos mount from a disc rotor adapter and the tidy trimmed wires were juuuuust long enough.
Unfortunately the Rawland rack sits a little bit higher off the tire than the Haulin Colin rack so the stem mounted decaleur doesn’t quite align. I was thinking that maybe I could just add a ~10mm spacer to my steerer to make it align for travel.

what’s the actual platform measurement? does it feel way sturdy with that style of strut?

I think Rentable Faxmachine posted the dimensions on old Tarck, forgot to save them in an email. Can probably measure when I get home unless he saved them somewhere.
I actually emailed Sean about the dimensions approx a month ago, never got back to me 
I’m not super happy with the bungee pulls right now. They work okayish but not great.
Thinking about starting from scratch and just having a shape more like a single post zipper pull with a flared base.
The final iteration of the pull as it is now is probably the best. I kinda love the spoony shape, it makes it much more ergonomic. Could probably do away with the wings.
I also made these grommet spreader back plates for the pocket flap to stay firm & prevent the pocket from getting all bunchy & taking up the bungee slack in the system.

Our Public Library has 3 and will show you how to use them. It’s kind of amazing.
