Nah, -15 is fine. If you’re not tapering for an event, you want to stay negative. If your long term stress is 75 now, you’ll have to do a ride >75 training stress to get further negative. Likely the intervals won’t do it, but the 130 miler will, which is a great way to keep your long term stress up over the rest week.
The 130 miler might yield 200-300 training stress depending on your intensity. That’ll provide a solid boost to LTS.
word, i can tell i’m getting close to needing some rest though
my watts are up, but i’m cooked after a hard effort and it takes quite awhile to recover
plus i can not stop eating pickles.
lol
that would explain these huge tits
I hugged dougie and got him pregnant.
dammit nate
my lithe and girlish figure
gone forever
so intervals last week and saturdays gravel 100 put me under -20 stress balance and about 75 LTS
all i wanna do is sleep, eat things and have sex with things

If you still wanna have sex, you could probably get a little lower stress balance.

i need a PT on my bed so i can track my watts off the bike too
So many jokes there.
Now that you seem to have a grasp of your performance management chart. See if you can get long-term stress moving up by 5 points per week.
Somewhere, I saw a tutorial for making a strain gauge with a mylar bag and tape. You could conceivably run one the length of your mattress to measure smanging power.
Gonna have to ask this guy what he did.
lollin
it would be interesting to track it over time
lord knows my back aint 16yo anymore
two days rest at the end of a big training block.
i have been involved in two near-fistfights with random bros at the river
testosterone how does it work?
so it looks like imma race a stage race
a prologue, a short RR the next day
then a crit and a TT the next day
what kinda work should i do?
or should i say fuck it and go camping and take acid with some crazy chicks i know?
take the acid atmo.
can’t really do any ‘work’ at all at this point in the game before eugene celebration. shit is so close that all your work you’ve been doing prior is gonna have to be what carries you, no way you’re going to build anything substantial for a race in a week and a half’s time. rest, taper, rinse and repeat.
on the other hand, after RGR i’m sure you’ll have plenty of leg over the other 4’s at eug so long as you rest it off proper.

How many days do you have? Week and a half? Spend the next two days killing yourself doing VO2Max Intervals along with long, long tempo rides, like a couple 200 TSS (bikescore) days. Then start easing up (taper) such that your stress balance starts heading positive. When you taper, keep the intensity high, but shorten the duration. Keep doing VO2Max work. That is 6x5s. Throw in some 10x1 anaerobic intervals if you are into that sort of thing.
keep in mind hombre just did RGR like yesterday.
Good thing too, pile stress on top of stress and he’ll see increased fitness as a result 7-10 days from now.
or just gets sick and ends up not racing.
