I argued with jan about rear mudflaps once. It was quite an experience. Basically because old french bikes in photos had front mudflaps but not rear, he thinks they are unnecessary and look bad, and could argue strenuously for this.
Like, front mudflaps look good because they visually fill space in between the wheels. Rear flaps don’t do this so how could they look good? Also, we organize rides only on pnw back roads and just ride two abreast when it rains. It’s more social. Why would you want to draft in the rain racer boy?
…These were his two major arguments.
Drafting in the rain gets you home faster atmo
I feel like he could argue strenuously about pretty much anything
just cause yr working hard to prove something doesn’t mean yr right
Exactly, at a certain point you have to recognize when you’re arguing with a flat earther and just move on.

I never watched reality shows and thank you for reminding my that I never should. Seriously WTF is all that?
that’s amazing. i would love to know how they found all those clips.
Somebody spends as much time watching reality tv as we do talking about bikes.
i wonder if their website slogan is “relaity tv: where 11 episodes means you’re on a long binge”
do you think they measure cost in bongs?
They measure cost in kardahsians
I used to just read the old site but this one is too hard to read without being signed in. Here is my road bike for judgement.
It certainly does guilt the hell out of you to sign up doesn’t it?
That bike is pretty uninspiring. It’s like you went in to performance and just left it like that. Weird dorel inc money decisions and all.
I have nothing bad to say about this bike.
I want to criticize that bike, but everything about it is…adequate. I guess.
Have a less boring bike, FNG.
This is where I’m at.
I do like those Jack Brown Greens, though. They were totally worth the wholesale price and cornered great.
Either you live somewhere flat or you are an animal.
Stop while you’re ahead.
