Serious PITD to the guy that invented those.

I’m so confused, they went to the trouble of swapping to shakes but didn’t want to change the handlebar?

brakes aren’t attached to the shakes.

edit: looks like just the right one may not be? I can’t tell if that is set up as an interrupter or not.

Maybe they wanted a 60cm drop bar but the ultraromance one was sold out

they just sell them as microshift now

they are both run under the tape grips. you can follow the squirm it leaves to see.

I’d like to see the clamp on drops mounted inbound of the mtn grips. I think that would actually work decently well aside from having no brakes on the flat bar position… Maybe it would prevent the 4’11" rider from having to use their full wingspan to reach the hüdz

Scott’s were the best shape of that era.

We’re starting to see standard road bars get the dirtdorp ā€˜aim the hooks at the BB’ setup.
