eh, i think older full suspension bikes are generally crap, because so many improvements have been made in suspension/frame design.
you could probably find a decent old hardtail for the money you would put into servicing the shocks.
yeah pretty much this.
there are NO parts available for gt rear suspension- bearings, bushings, the like. usually shit goes all creak city. (used to work in a shop that was a gt dealer before gt went to walmart bikes)
not as sure about the roxk shox fork, but looks to be a low end elastomer model one, so probably no parts available.
uhh, so if you could get 300 for it i’d do that and run.
A Schwinn Tempo with Colombus Tenax in really good shape, full 600EX group, and newer wheels.
Wazzit worth?
$200-300 max. I have gotten that locally for a Tenax Schwinn ready to ride with nice paint and a full overhaul. If it needs work or an extreme size less $$.

It’s $120 with extra parts. Going to snag it this weekend, I am trading him some parts I have no use for for the bike, so all is good. hanks man.
how tough are the cxp22’s? i live in detroit, where the street’s are unplowed and full of crated sized potholes… that’s the reason i’m looking at velocity’s for my commuter/road bike, cuz i’ve had em on my single speed and it took a car going 45 to wreck em.
shimano 2200 hubs spin real good?
gonna try to bargain those deep v’s down maybe. thx.
I have CXP22 to 105 hubs on my cross bike with no issues (bought used too) and my other cross wheels are Mavic MA3 to shimano 2200 and they’ve been fine too.
Come to think of it both cross wheelsets including tires cost me all of $200, I heart used stuff.
