Friend just had his iqx mount fail. Apparently it’s available as a spare here as lbs recently ordered one for another failure
Seems like maybe a metal mount might be better for spirited riders

I’ll check out the options for stem mount stuff too. Was hoping to leave the door open for a Klickfix mount, but maybe not required
If you know other straight steerer, ~395 A2C, crabon space pokes that clear 650x47 with the crown hole I’m 
Nice part about this one is it can take 12mm and 15mm TA, meaning I could keep my 15mm 650b wheels and build a 700c set in 12mm sizeway.
But urite that spending $$$ on a new fork that needs to be modded feels quite silly

i’d prefer steel but i’m 0 for everyone so far finding someone to build me a custom steel fork, at least in Euroland.
I mostly want to lose weight up front, but i’m open to non low trail and plastic pokes.
If only I could find a small batch US-designed yet Dutch made steel fork that fits this criteria…

This thing is very strange. It fits 29x2.2 but the bottom bracket gets sky high. Head tube is incredibly long. I’m sure it has more quirks.
