Well, we clearly need an official collaboration between @BicyclePears and @Orloved. I don’t know what the occasion should be, or if @igor should somehow promote or sponsor it, but there’s SOMETHING here.
Consumed 650b Voyaguers to give homes to an original SON dyno and a Hugi Compact
Here’s a weird one, was gifted this ProFlex 854. Seems fun to try and put back together, but all the pivot hardware is missing. Trying to scrub the internet for an exploded view so I can figure out how to replicate.
Yep, had one just like the red on in the article. Tried my best to rebuild it.
I’d start with asking a proflex/k2 FB group.

Update, dudes sending me pictures of the whole bike on google, and telling me it’s simple without showing any actual useful info. This is confirming my experience on all facebook groups.
I got 2 used 27.5 x 2.25 Thunder Burts for $20.
Then I started ditherstorming about what to put them on.
And I settled on a full rigid for riding streets to explore local trails.
And then I started looking at party full rigid 27.5 bikes.
Then I remembered if I was going to go full rigid again it would be a fat bike that could do summer trail duty with 29 x 3.0s.
Then I looked at the steel options out there and it seems like Surly Wednesday and not much else, and the Wednesday isn’t all that slack and comes with Surly compromises
and that’s how I got to looking into a custom Marino hambiek.
Stealing this
But really fatbike dithering is the worst kind
If 9-speed is “deadend” I hate to think of an accurate way of describing all the offset 135mm shit I’ve been hoarding. In Texas.
One dude came through with the deets! Surprised/not surprised its all friction without bearings etc.

I wonder if you could find someplace to make replacements out of Delrin or a similar bushing material.
Yeah, feel like there could be better ways. I have a friend who is luckily the great combo of fabricator/bike nerd so we have been discussing a weekend playing around with his machines and making some things. Also wondered if brass would be a better material?
I bet it runs on WF-1620-08B
Do you mean the material, or that exact item? Would need more shoulder to bolt on the swing arm I think?
The acetal Oilites were definitely used on bikes at the time. I’m guessing on the size based on ID since I don’t have any other dimensions.
Just out of curiosity, are my pictures above not coming through on your end? Shape is different than what your found.

Assuming it fits like this, unless the flanges go the other direction into the frame and you need a 3/4 bushing instead of 1"
I’m fairly certain I’m the one confused here. From your link part A would go in the frame and B would sit in the linkage, so my thought is the dimensions listed (0.875" for A and 0.125" for B) don’t seem correct? A should be short, B should be the longer.
