I’m starting to think I was looking at x, you were looking at y? Bearing interface ID/OD always confuses me.
Back of napkin metric to 'merica conversion from FB dude gave me this;
or metric
pretty sure I’m overthinking this at this point
OH, you need to get the metal parts in the sketch machined out of aluminum.
The oilite bushings go between the aluminum part and the frame. Probably goes this way:

If it doesn’t work out i actually have a pro flex frame with all the bits, but it’s under my parent’s deck right now. Probably won’t be there until some time this summer.
This makes so much more sense now
I’ve acquired this supersix minus shifty bits. Do I build it with the rival 22 group I already have or…
put a EBB/130mm track hub on it and make it a weight weenie fixie
So my deadender ATB needs some extra love this year to increase the fun:
- Fenders
- Brooks C15 or 17
- Replace the weird old Mavic rim laced to a King hub, lace it to a tubeless 26 or go 27.5?
- Pizza rack or just go large Wald?
Wald 137 on a front rack is the bomb, especially with a nice bag that’s got my rec
that’s a funny way to spell clydesdale fork
Do those fit on bikes designed for boingy forks?
Let us know.
if it’s got a 9/8” headtube, sure!
longer answer is probably not ideally.
short long answer made longer they’re set up for ~72hta with ~400a2c. crust gives a very generic “off a cm or few or a degree or two… it’ll still be fine give or take but won’t be 100% what we designed for”. it for sure makes any bike significantly more of a tank but dang i love mine and if i had to downsize i’d probably get rid of a much fancier bike first
I love mine on a silly road frame, too.
I have mine on an old frame designed for a 50 mm travel fork and it rides beautifully.
just bought these shits for the dumb ti bike.
carver early riser ti 860mm 85mm rise
now im gonna steal the slx 12spd stuff from my mtb and see if it fits on this old freehub. according to a quick google search, it should.
Hfy
i have not figured what to do with mine
I have some 25.6 Woodchippers they could fit on fir poopbarning maybe.
I was looking at getting a RM Blizzard (cuz the geo looks real decent for trail shenanigans) with a Mastodon off a dude on pinkbike, but he’s been hella flaky. I was enticed by the deal of the boingy fork, but it is further away from my dream of a rigid party bike. I might back out and go Marino still.
Thinking 197 rear, 100 BB, room for 26x5" (and 29x3") tires (I think this can be done with 445 chainstays?) 500 reach 66 HTA, 75 STA, built around a china carbon rigid fat fork (483is A-to-C).
LMK if anyone has strong opinions on geometry, or any buildy guys want to build something dumb.
