I think you’ll get over it. I got that feeling.
I think it’s because Scott has been getting nothing but shit for his cockpit setups for the last decade.
Swapped the blackburn for a Tubus tara and I’m pretty happy with it
Installed a newerish chainring. Hopefully I don’t drop my chain a million times tomorrow.
He needs a big hug.
C’mere dude. (HUGZ)
Haha. I make great cockpits. The best cockpits. People tell me. They love my cockpits. Such great cockpits. The best.
Put an absurd stem on it. Position felt real good, but between that, the squishy fork, and the squishy frame, the handling got really “spirited,” especially on metal bridge grating in the rain. The front brake even rubs out of the saddle.
Looks so frickin fun.
the nednivadron lives on!
what’s going on with the rear brake cable?
Put on a derper post on my hardtail, just before leaving for work
I never used one before. Want to shred so bad.

Best ‘upgrade’ ever. Makes your MTB so much fun.
It’ll make you a better rider in many ways, but the immediate thing is it forces you to keep your head up/stay aware so you can drop the post for any opportunity to get semi-rad.
Dropped it off to have a new something installed.
Dudes at the bike shop laughed their ass off when they saw the new part.
Gonna be epic.
?
I wanna see the new part
Oh shit I hope so

Damn bro, nerdavindens are pretty wild with no front load.
His front load looks to be his own weight with that stem.
nerdavinden looks rad with longggggg stem
yeah that thing is hella rad

You can talk some shit about that cockpit if you want… right up until you get a gander at her Strava track. Then everyone pretty much just shuts up. Bike is balleur and she rides the many many shits out of it.
I’ve been trying to convince sup to try a similar cockpit but she isn’t having it; can’t get over the aesthetics I guess. Really think it might solve a lot of her hand/wrist issues but what do I know. On a related note, does anyone have any experience with guidonnet-style brake levers?
imho, your sup needs a bike that actually fits her with an appropriate reach/stack before you start getting weird with the cockpit.
she’s always looked stretched out on a bike that is just too long.
her hands/wrists probably hurt because she’s leaned over too far forward to compensate and putting all her weight on them.
