that’s a neat idea and I hope it turns out interesting

Same, no clue how long to leave it, shortest exposure I could get away with is 3 days static, say 36hrs of daylight. Guess I’ll give it at least a few weeks and see.

This looks like a LaCroix carrot that you eventually get to give yourself after riding far enough

Sold the ole Redline as f/f/hs/crankset + other random small parts. Not bad for 2 days on Craigslist.

The buyer was stoked to build it up, which felt nice. Even with the paint as ugly as it is.

Now I’m down to 4 bikes, no more parts bikes. Probably gonna sell 2 more though. I still have 3 more spare gruppos lying around smh

Fell like stupid mtb rider on a wet bridge because I wasn’t thinking enough, finished the crash off by headbutting some big ass rocks and broke/cracked my Giro switchblade… Feeling alright though, it’s only flesh wounds and a sore thigh.

Then I picked up a package and finally threaded the inside of my steerer.

But you made it to the other side at some point though glad you’re not hurt too bad

Got this thing roughly rideable today. Step #1 of my plan to fix my tendency to buy frames that are too small for me. Ordered some red, purple, and yellow splash tape. Shimrampagnolo drivetrain works better than it has any right to.

I finally got a good bin on my crust fork. And made a sweetass lock holster for it!

Installed exposure 30s on my Gunnar. The ultegra brakes claim clearance for a 30 and they sure got that right. Lucky my rim isn’t any wider.

Now I’m thinking about how to go road tubeless for as cheap as possible.

Hey that’s the one I mentioned! I have one from ten years ago as my home made trailer and it’s going strong, no cracks

Finally got these sick spinners from @jimmythefly on.

730s are truly a fine used bin classic, too bad the normies caught on and charge $100 for them on eBay.

They are also perfect for my long time method of using old triple cranks to get cheap compact doubles.

yeah, but the basically identical MT60 still goes for cheap

an aside, i think the square taper triple bubble is bursting. people used to want dumb money for Ritchey Logic triples because muh low Q but i’ve been seeing prices for those inch down towards $100 over the past year.

I want one of those for true compact crank action but don’t expect to find one anywhere

MIne is on loan, I hope it returns one day. Its a pretty mint biopace one.

The hype on the Logic’s are really real, insane prices for beat to shit pair’s on ebay… Glad I snagged mine couple of years back.

Not proven, but left knee was hurting on h/g bike rides recently. maybe my legs got too used to mtb q faktors to care about sugino low q shit. Really only got it for the 46-30, but glad other options are now out there if I confirm this and want to switch. I need to keep riding it enough to notice, but with sup on sidelines I can do other dumber rides so it might happen.
