Printed a version 4 of Jimmy’s Tubus Duo Lowrider pannier hook mount. Thanks for revising it Jimmy! I was taking off the set that he gifted me last year and there was a crack along the plastic grain at the corner of the hex nut. I was thinking of having them professionally printed by Shapeways to avoid any grain splits & better finish but the office 3D printer (0.01 resolution) did a pretty good job and in a colorway that matches my bike. I have to track down the design but I’m happy to email it to anyone who wants to 3d print their own.

Oh I don’t have access to 3d printing services ( i guess I could seek them out online ) but a little bit of internet research lead me to these: https://www.grainger.com/product/29NW10 which might do the trick

Did you mention that you altered the design slightly for better fit of the hex nuts?

I don’t think I ever got the source files from you, just the STL print files. I ended up printing two orange plastic versions, one low resolution on my work printer and then I had Shapeways print a high res version that I am now using.
The design could reduce the diameter down a hair since I can bottom out the bolts and still rotate the hook keeper with my hands. Also maybe replace the 6mm bolts with 5mm to save weight (I think I remember you using 6mm because you had bolts and nuts in-stock at work?).

Appreciate all the details! I’m mostly hoping these 1/2" inside diameter collars will fit the 14mm dia of the tubus rack.
