What did you do to your crosscheck today?

I haven’t put too many miles on them but so far so good. Measure a bit over 48mm on my rims. I’ve mostly ridden them on the bike path but did a short gravel loop and they were great. Handled loose chunky stuff nice. Not sure about wet gravel or mud.

Probably even faster with smaller fenders

Or no fenders :open_mouth:

GASP!

But might

Put some new fookers on my trek, Odyssey Triple Trap because I wanted a cheaper metal beartrap with a fairly level contact area. They’re huge! I’m pumped. Bad indirect photos;

I trimmed my fender stays so now my rear fender is tukt.

Then I took the bike over to the deth musheen body shop to pick up sup wief’s Outback that had a fender bender. The body shop guy was really into the Devinci. He’s apparently really into 3rd gen Outbacks, also.

Why are your brake levers and shifters mounted upside down and on the wrong sides of the handlebars? That is really bothering me.

I ride with an underhand grip.

Actually I ride normal style. Set up this way I can shift with my thumb and index without lifting my palm to the top of the bar.

Tossup between these and 1st gen fozzies for best-looking subaru atmo

Finally put new flaps on after ripping off both;

Somehow addressing this made my shifting bad whereas there was no issue with my shifting performance:

Got Mrs. Biek onto the basketlife train today. She had a basketpacker setup before on her old bike, but hadn’t gotten around to it on here. Rack by @Orc (thanks again!) and we had the bag made by some local up-and-coming bagmaker who’s only 16 or 17 and works nights in a bike shop (https://www.instagram.com/rockymountaintoast/).

Yeah it’s pretty nice stuff. He’s only been making these bags for like a year and a half and already hit the radavist.

Also rides farther than a most people I know.

Why did you build suck a nice bike for @quilbert420’s wife?

Everyone should carry straps on their katu just in case

Was a v unfun 5 mile ride, flipped the levers up for an earlier failed box placement but forgot to flip back before this worked and it sucked to hit stop lights
