Tubelessed my 2.3 mezcal front Dyno wheel. Super easy, even for a denier like me. Re-set my front dangler after accidentally sticking my foot in it while doing something stupid, which alludes me. Put on some Ergon gp3? grips, the ones with the little bar ends. Biiiig weight disadvantage but I am hoping that they are good for my hands. Pushed my B-17 back a tad as I think it was forward a bit, after removing my bent one.

Orange Sam got the VO Milan bars swapped out for Dimension urban cruisers, along with the nicer Sim Works stem for a shorter technomic. Bars feel really good, look hella dorky. The bars have more rise, so probably have to stick with the techno for fit reasons instead of unnecessary consuming a shorter Sim Works 90* stem.
bike update: I doused every moving part in large amounts of triflow overnight and it returned to something resembling normal function
also my bike was outside from 8AM until 6:30PM in temperatures that ranged from 19 to 9 and wet brake function up front was perfect throughout
which is important because I still havenāt fixed the rear brake. I think I just donāt want to work on my bike in my garage because itās so cold

Me too. Itās insulated but a space heater takes so damn long to warm it even a little bit, and still every metal thing you touch is just sucking the heat out of your fingers, ugh.
Also me, even though itās been warmer than usual. The only bike stuff getting done now is non-messy stuff that can be dragged into the house.

My Bullitt is making funny noises but I havenāt looked into it because I canāt get it into the house and the garage is dark and cold.

I am continuing to di2 all the things; this time I stripped all the 9-speed bits off my emergency randonneuse and made it into a machine with a few stump-pulling gears (11-36 in back, 48/28 in front.) I bought the dangler as a āwrecked, parts only!ā piece from ebay and got one of those blingy giant-idler cages to replace the twisted to hell stock cage, so it continues my tradition of bizarrely equipped bicycles.
(The battery box is, as is traditional, mounted under the rack.)

bought some wheels for the grando, finally. itās been sitting in my garage totally stripped down for years.
iām gonna rebuild it into a flat/cruiserish basket bike townie.
i was thinking about putting these left bankies on there:

How stupid/rad is this idea?

Left bank are too swept back for me, knee knockin is real. Something less pointed back but still cruisery would be nice. Giant delivery basket is overkill unless youāre actually hauling newspaper or kitty litter, no matter how low trail your bike is.

Tubelessed 2 Gravel king SKs for a gravel fondo on the thursday. De-tubelessed them on the saturday. Took my rear MTB wheel into my LBS for a check-over and dude said, wheel is a mess, lumpy rim, shitty allow nips and some tiny spoke cracks, donāt use it on your upcoming poopbarn epic. But he is on holiday so I am trying to source a new rim and get someone else to build it before my big ride. Its gonna be close. Gonna have to buy a new front bag cos I still got more stuff that I have nowhere to stash. Using a bladder in my tiny frame bag leaves room for not much else.
