Yep
Gonna need to get onea thems.
Mig gets the first one
aw shit that rack would actually probably fit my niner fork with the top boss on only the back of the crown.
I put this awesome Nitto bullmoose bars from VO on my Bullitt, went out to ride around the neighborhood and it started blizzarding like somebody blipped a damn light switch. The bars are awesome but winter is back so it’s hard to be stoked.
Aluminum?
Cro-mo
Hifi wheels came in the mail today. Wasn’t expecting them for at least another week or two. Set up the front one for my superx. Going to use thr rear on my RLT cause I don’t want to dish it for AI really.
Those rail welds look like aluminum!
I was thinking the same thing.
's will, my words, and the hands of new england townies
looks like someone cleverly smushed the tube end a bit instead of mitering it
it’s the right thing to do, fastidiously mitering everything for the cyclefab racks was fun to design tooling for but wildly unprofitable overkill
Nitto just square cuts all of their rack tubing and has expert grandma brazers fill in the gaps with not-technically-structural fillets
They should have mixed and matched square tube to make all the mitering easier
Tried doing a chainring swap on the Lorry. Turns out the stock 40T ring doesn’t play well with the upgraded Shimano crank, so had to reinstall the 42T chainring. Yay, twice the work for zero benefit.
Did a quick bar wrap job and cleaned the blue Sam so it can be loaned out to the dude who bought the Clem for a couple of days to see if he wants to buy it.
Cleaned the Horsethief and swapped saddles so I can take some pics to try and get it sold too.
Selling bikes is basically the only time I clean them.
some slight progress on @Rusty_Piton 's old bike.
First bike commute in a long long time tomorrow so I took it to the wheelbrow bar. New VO faceted fenders, little more swish than the smooth ones
Looks close enough and doesn’t make noise
Rode twenty miles on the tracklocross. Put a longer and lower stem and it’s way better. Half singletrack half paved and averaged just over 10mph. The public drinking fountains are still off which made the last six or so into headwind even worse.
I miss drinking fountains so much
I’m pretty sure that I miss drinking fountains more than I miss a lot of my coworkers
jfc THIS
put the mac ride on the mtb for the first time. this is maybe the forth post about it cuz it was super lit. kid likes the squishy bike. if she gets much taller it won’t work so we gotta do it more! great trail time- maybe 2 miles on trail and a few more to and from. also a good reminder that i need to ride it more by myself
