I’ll do what I can!

Maybe if it turns into a thing I actually ride. Seems fine tho, probably just photo weirdness.

That bike should go on the Graham with a #tarck tag. All the Indonesian kids will be riding Clydesdales.

Putting this back together was not nearly as fun. But it’s incredible that we were able to fly with the tandem. The rental car guy could NOT believe that we put it in our honda Fit.
Thanks to the bike shop 4 blocks from the Airbnb for the pump bc I had to totally deflate the tires to get them in the case.

Clydepoint got a drivetrain and brakes and a star nut. Just waiting on a better BB tool to arrive so I can tighten the DT centerlock adapter on the front wheel. Rode it around the block anyway. It’s fun and weird.

Rode to a local bike store and bought bar tape and then wrapped the handlebars. Maybe I will ride it now. I haven’t ridden it in Ohio yet.

That bike looks happy to be back in the Midwest.

Put a second bottle cage on and took it for a quick spin to see if the cleaning the BB stopped the creaking. Promptly got lost and ended up doing 37 miles/2k of climbing. Felt good and the BB was silent (for now….)

how long does this take

it’s not that bad, maybe half an hour to 45 mins? it was a lot easier and faster the second time, hardest part was keeping each case below 50lbs.

Apparently, I’m a bad power meter owner. My MTB power meter got damp over the weekend, throwing a tantrum with my numbers.

Now, it’s sitting in a silica gel bead bath to hopefully draw the moisture out.
