I finally dealt with the rear brake on my bullitt. It had zero stopping power and squealed like a banshee. Now it’s silent and stops great. The pads had a ton of thickness left, but they were so contaminated from the winter that I don’t think they were worth trying to save. I sanded the rotor with fine sand paper and cleaned it with 90% iso.

The deicer they use here fouls my rotors after a wet ride. I can usually burn it off by rebedding the pads, but sometimes I have to throw out the pads.
It seems to happen more with resin/organic pads. Since switching to metallic, my issues are much less frequent.

Recabled it with cleaner/shorter housing runs and fixed the hideous front dyno light wiring only to make it all a jumbled mess again with a bar bag
I need to get some crimp connectors so I can put the rear dyno light back on and get it connected

Yep, same frame/fork and wheels, new everything else. This is its third or fourth iteration, and aside from saddle dithering maybe this one will stick.

Nah the Clydesdale is gonna go on a different bike, as yet to be discovered. Kinda wanna keep this one as a comfy commuter.

If you can’t find any locally, pretty sure there are plenty of spare 2.8mm spade connectors in my parts mess that I can drop in the mail.
Goddamnit dude, now I’m thinking I should Clyde the Peugeot and grab a fun toy bike for dirt instead of a cargo bike

Had to straighten out my sons rear DR after he forgot to take to bike off the roof before driving in the parking garage 
Ripped the cross bars off the car and bent to bike tray, will have to go back to trunk mount or he can just put in the hatch
i swear I have to fix something on his bike almost every time he rides smh.

I’m into that. Are they all the same frame/fork with different build kits? Might be fun to buy a City Doggler and a spare 27.5 wheel set and swap as needed.
I am super happy at the resurgence of the ATB and think they would make great bikes for most people.
I was amazed at all the expensive double bouncers with Fox 38s at Galbraith that really looked like they never left the ground or got above 10mph. I was a bit jealous that I don’t have $4-6k kicking around and refuse to put a bike on my CC.

Put the Hungry gatherer fork + milk crate rack on Marino. Hopefully taking it bikepacking next weekend. Should have done this months ago
